Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our leadership team at Rosewood London. The Senior Sous Chef reports directly to the Executive Sous Chef and is responsible for all culinary areas.


Key expectations of this role

  • Acting as a coach and mentor to the team to ensure high engagement levels, people development and associate retention to strengthen the company culture.
  • Managing food and payroll cost without impact on brand, or quality standards. Managing all aspects of people.
  • Consistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.
  • Showing a sound understanding of the London upscale hotel banqueting market to ensure a distinctive banqueting food offering. 
  • Proactively attracting and selecting talent for the department in line with company procedures and culture.


Profile

  • The ability to demonstrate leading and developing people effectively.
  • Proven culinary skills in an upscale, high volume banqueting environment.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders of the event planning and execution process.
  • A good understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
