Restaurant Server Assistant- at CUT Restaurant by Wolfgang Puck
OVERVIEW:
Clear tables as needed. Reset with proper linen, china, silver and glassware. Provide water and bread throughout the meal to the guest. Complete opening and closing side work. Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant. Keep work area neat and clean. Execute significant role in guest experience. Main functions include, water service, bread service, maintenance, guest engagement, execution of table side service, setting/resetting of tables, learning extensive product knowledge, providing an exceptional guest experience. May also include, greeting tables, taking beverage order, taking dessert order, taking tea/coffee order. Complete opening and closing side work. Keep work area neat and organized. Support, maintain and adhere to all safety, health and sanitary guidelines and recommendations issued by Rosewood, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; OSHA, Federal and local DC Government to mitigate exposure and spread of COVID-19.
- An energetic personality
- Exceptional attention to detail throughout the total guest experience. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- At least 2-4 years of previous experience, preferably in an upscale restaurant; fine dining experience and/or wine bar experience are a plus.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with "spirit to serve" attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without becoming visibly flustered.
- Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to converse in basic English.
- Requires strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Able to lift at least 20 pounds. Excellent people skills.
- Must meet grooming standards. Meet/exceed customer expectations.
- Must meet or exceed the team expectations.
